When and where did that guy (we) get such a large chess set and.....should he be on the field DURING the game.
Is he capable of lifting ALL of the pieces. This is a formative effort and all that the state cares about is summative....can he pass the test(s).

Thanks for the "link" to the Michigan educational "game-plan." I reviewed all of the materials (data) . These are some very serious proposals and/or undertakings and certainly represent an incredible amount of rigor on behalf of those responsible for their creation and development. KUDOS to all involved in the effort to reinvent the transfer of knowledge aligned to a meaningful ladder of understanding.
Lets hope the implemenation and eventual summative evaluation meets the same strident meter of excellence and relevance for its intended beneficaries. I pray it will.
